daisies

So I bought some daisies for myself the other day, and when Jackson saw them he asked me if we were getting married. I said "I don't know are we?" Then he said,"yes and we will have a big party in the back yard and everyone will be invited. We will have balloons and cake too!" He was so super excited, and it makes me sad to think that he will be 4 yrs old tomorrow. So Happy Birthday Jackson! My little man is growing up!

On a seperate note my little girl is starting to drink out of a "big" cup! This is so exciting I'm pretty much over the whole sippy cup thing! wow to think of how many sippy cups we've gone through in the past 4yrs is crazy :)

And on the last note, I went to a little shop in town called Living Vintage on saturday. I found some really cool stuff, like the table pictured, and my husband works for 7up and I found this really old 7up can turned into a lamp (which may be a future present)! My boss called me and told me I could take the whole day off so I did a little shopping and found a really old wooden magazine rack at a yard sale. It had $4 on it but I only had $3 in cash, so I asked if she would take that and she said she would. I will take some pictures of it at a later time and show you how it looks all cleaned up and super spiffy! Hope you all have a fantastic night ;)

some pyrex bowls and vintage chairs

Well I had a nice little post about my morning and Jackson wanting bubble gum for breakfast, but Jackson was hitting the keyboard and hit backspace so... everything got deleted, and now I'm gonna show you guys some awesome pyrex bowls! I got these from a lady a couple of towns over, I got 4 for $20 and they have barely even been used so I thought it was a steal! Also I got two freaking awesome vintage chairs at a yardsale this past weekend, they look like they have hardly been used and the women said they've been in her basement for years. She had $5 for both seats and I asked if she would take any less and she said she would take $3 for both, so I snagged them! Now if you know the retro side of me... I was freaking excited!!!

my first...

Yay my first blog...finally :) I have been wanting to create a blog for sometime now, so this is really exciting for me! First off let me tell you about my kids, Jackson is my first, he will be 4 yrs old June 29th. And he has got to be the funniest kid I have ever met! I'm not saying that b/c he's mine, ask any of my friends! He's so curious about the world and he doesn't stop talking, or moving for that matter! Then I have Brooklynn, she will be 2 on Aug. 14th. She is the prettiest little thing, and oh sooo girly, I love it! She's going to be a huge talker also ;) I have this huge love for all things vintage, i have a pretty cool pyrex collection and some old vintage kitchen chairs, my husband got me a really cool light that hangs above my stove. It goes fantastic with my cat clock (you know the ones with moving eyes and tail?) Well I'm sure I will have plenty of time to show you guys everything! I'll be back later :) Peace
